There were homeschool families, minorities, people old and young, and most were protesting without party affiliation involved. There were a few protesting illegal imigrants but most of the signage was about spending, the Constitution and the social Obama Administration agenda.
People are unanimously fed-up with the staus quo from both sides of the isle. People are tired of the government telling eveyone what to do, spending us into debt with no end, using taxpayer money to payout huge bailouts, interferring with the courts and due process, and failing to listen to the will of the people.
I would say the Revolution has begun!

I just had to snap a picture of these two redheads!
I think they were a bit surprised by my request!

There were people in wheelchairs...

There were some of the Santa Ana homeboys.....

There were many young people ...
I met this blogger from Irvine, CA .....

Some people had more than one message....
Almost all signs were handmade by GRASS ROOTS attendees. No premanufactured big PAC signs at this event!

Some people only had used teabags.... I told her we would all be using used teabags soon if we don't change the way government is serving the people.
This guy was making his sign on the spot! Truely grass roots!
Signs on lost nest eggs....
This lady had such a good message I took a picture of her with both sides of her sign.

Many were disgusted with the prospect of our current administration robbing the future wealth of our youth and even of our unborn children.

The crowds......

I told this guy I think he was supposed to be in Boston!
Americans with messages for Senate, Congress, Nancy Pelosi, Arnold Schwarzenegger, California's leadership, and the President...

I really thought the messages from immigrant citizens were some of the best...

There were many speakers but the sound system could only be heard from certain locations so I did not catch all the speakers names. One great speaker was the one from the Big Hollywood blog: http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/ Actor Orson Bean was there cutting it up also.
A representative from Ayn Rand was there. I have some great video clips I will put up in another post. I would like to identify the speakers first.
There were also some Twitter friends ;-)
I did talk to someone who identified himself as a LA Times writer. I also spoke with two young women from Chapman College doing video interviews and a young man from OC Weekly.
These are the only media guys I saw and they were taping in spanish.
I did not see any outside protests except for this one. This guy was a lot of fun to debate with and I had a feeling he wanted to join us once the conversation showed the people in the crowd were representitive of many party affiliations.
It was a peaceful, respectful 1st Amendment protest of the US government by fed-up Americans. America's finest were there to keep the peace and had an easy day of it as there were no problems at this rally. It was a great day in America!
That being said, there is a lot of work to be done!

Great pics!
